The Trouble with Tracy
Mike Campbell asks what happened to the promised remake of 70s' CanCon craptacular The Trouble with Tracy. What I want to know is why there is no Tracy resource anyone on "the internet". File this with my yearning for a proper Beachcombers web resource.

I would love to see a DVD of all that cancon shit packaged together and titled: Your tax dollars at work. Why we don't want you to watch high quality American programs.
The DVD Set would include such Gems as
Trouble With Tracey
Drying up the Streets (ooh such a gritty drama about drugs and porno)
Hangin'In (Harris Tweed..... say no more)
Gerry and Ziz (AAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGG!!!!)
Road to Avonlea (please just shoot me!!)
Benmurgi Live (or whatever that train wreck was called)
The Last Chapter (can you believe a CBC Exec described it as their "sopranos")

There was an amazingly crappy sit-com about a pogie office in Halifax in the early 80's that lasted one or two episodes. Also, what was the CBC kids' show that Fiona Ried and Dan Ackroyd was in? Perhance "Coming Up Rosie"? I liked that one in a "Beachcombers" sort of way.
