Buy Nothing Day: The Album
If only every day of the whole year could be Buy Nothing Day! Then there would be no cake and no presents for everyone! I have an idea. Let's... uh... celebrate? observe? acknowledge Buy Nothing Day by selling an album of alternative music! The "Buy Nothing Day Single" would have been a Flea-dance but I feared blowing their bandwidth... I quite like the first bit of the Veda Hille cover of "The River" though the song is so beautiful I expect a Flea version would still be moving. You can buy Hille's work through her website. Just so we are clear: buy nothing expect stuff sold by AdBusters or buy progressive folks they like. Otherwise, buying things is, like, capitalism man.
