Ignore the bit about Wilders being a hypocrite. He only wants to ban the Koran.

Hmm. I'm not so sure that "he only wants to ban the Koran" is correct. I believe, and may be wrong, that he wants the language in Dutch law that criminalizes hate speech in his home country enforced equally against books--specifically,perhaps the Koran--which advocates violence.
I don't support limits on freedom of speech or the press...but some European and some of our Northern Neighbors believe limiting speech and press rights are appropriate, no?

One could make the argument, under US jurisprudence at least, that the Koran is the functional equivalent of yelling "FIRE!" in a crowded theater...
