Pogrom

A mob attacks a Jewish student organization at a "Canadian" university and I find I am sickened but not surprised. Canada has a long history of siding with racists and Nazis (RTWT). Canada will side with the devil so long as Canada is against the United States; anti-Semitism is just the icing on the cake of our shame (via Blazing Cat Fur).

Another anti-Semitic incident took place in a Canadian university Thursday when over 100 anti-Israel activists surrounded a campus building belonging to the Jewish student club 'Hillel' at York University, Toronto. The activists pounded on office doors while yelling out racial slurs. Campus security was forced to alert police to restore order and the latter demanded that the offices be shut down.

Just so we are clear on this point: Attack the Jews and Toronto police will blame the Jews. As for our media betters, the Globe and Mail was on the scene but their reporter Elizabeth Church did not think to mention the race riot in her coverage (check the comments).

Omar Bulphred, 22, pleaded guilty to a total of five charges, including dictating letters claiming the crimes were committed in the name of Islamic Jihad, a militant group that has vowed to destroy Israel. ...

Bulphred, who also pleaded guilty to setting a neighbour's car on fire, has 40 months left in the sentence because of time already served.

Why is the moral-historical bar being set very high for the Pope and the Catholic Church, whereas in the case of thousands of imams and Islamic scholars it is consciously set extremely low? Why should a Catholic clergyman not be permitted to show contempt for the dead of Auschwitz when the “Holocaust lie” and the “fable of the gas chambers” are commonplace tropes in so many Friday prayers throughout the Muslim and Arab world?

It is not hard to find the answer. Muslims are in fact not taken entirely seriously in the West. The anti-Semitism of Muslims is regarded as a kind of folklore, for which on account of cultural backwardness mitigating circumstances should apply.
