Freedom measured out in coffee spoons
Here is a human rights violation for Canadians. I purchased evaporated milk and on the side the nutritional information lists x-amount of calories per 15ml. What is 15ml? It is a frakking tablespoon. A tablespoon just like everyone has in their home, a handy, human unit of measurement that is tangible and part of our lived experience. What is 15ml? 15ml is dehumanizing, bureaucratic, contextually irrelevant French bullshit meant to humiliate common people, divorce us from the truth and humiliate us as we are made to dance for our masters.
We are not free.
