Sixty children on the bus. Sixty children alive.

You know, I heard about that guy on cbc yesterday and I thought "I should write that guy a letter". People like him deserve praise and heroic awards that are often given to dougheads that simply get off their asses once a year and ride around on a charity big bike. That guy is a real true hero.
I am sick to death of being angry every few days when I read about worthless scumbags who are arrested after doing horrible things to kidsfor years. These "people" should be ground up into dogfood but instead will serve a couple of years in the pen then released.
This was nice to hear about.

Major dittos. I especially like the dogfood plan.
This piece also reminded me what a good guy Lileks is to assume the best in people. I hope he is most often right.

Lileks is a good guy. We've emailed a few times and he is intelligent, approachable and funny. In fact I emailed him last week because I found a Crisco Cookbook in a box of things that detailed how at least a tablespoon of the god-given white paste should be added to all recipes from soups to dessert.. yum
I think I will look the guy up. People who do such great things need praise and people need to know he received it and where to send it.
