Your army is Poland's army.

You scored as Poland. Your army is Poland's army. Your tenacity will form a concept in the history of your nation and you're also ready to continue fighting even if your country is occupied by the enemy. In which World War 2 army you should have fought?
created with QuizFarm.com

One of the tables is giving my browser indigestion. Those bar graph results should read: Poland, 88%; British and the Commonwealth, 81%; Finland, 75%; Italy, 75%; France, Free French and the Resistance, 69%; Japan, 50%; United States, 38%; Soviet Union, 31%; Germany, 19%.

While I am pleased by my Britain and Commonwealth result it is an honour to stand with my fellow Pole, John Donovan.

Funny, I am 100% both Pole and Finn and had to answer a tie-breaking question to come up with...Poland eeking it out. Pass the chłodnik and buka, kompan.

Now I am wondering which Red Ensign-type is going to be first not to be Poland.

I'm Poland.

I even lived in Poland, you know. Back in 1991. I met a very respectable retired gent who spent the war slitting throats and blowing up Nazi trains even into Germany for the underground. Retired as a red army colonel and spoke the most wonderful French as I hacked through with my Hockey Night In Canada version of the language. Quite pleased, then, that we are all secret Poles ourselves.

My wife's a Pole too, although less Finny and more American that I.

Somehow I managed to score as 100 percent Poland and only 33 percent Finland--the combatant I least resembled, according to this poll. And I scored 69 percent with both the Brits and the USSR, not the most similar of combatants. Go ahead and call me cynical, but I'm beginning to question the accuracy of these online polls.

Either this is a Polish conspiracy or I have at last discovered the thread which joins all Flea-readers as one.

British and the Commonwealth 88%
United States 81%
Soviet Union 81%
Poland 63%
Germany 56%
Italy 56%
France, Free French and the Resistance 56%
Finland 44%
Japan 31%

Hmmm...did you happen to answer yes to that question "Would you send in the Scots, Aussies or Canucks first just to see what happens"?

Posted by: Alan McLeod [TypeKey Profile Page] at August 31, 2006 12:09 PM

Italy here...USA at second place

"Now I am wondering which Red Ensign-type is going to be first not to be Poland."

Ha! That's me.

British and the Commonwealth, Italy and Poland: 88% each. I have no idea what to make of that.

"Would you send in the Scots, Aussies or Canucks first just to see what happens"?

That's easy. The Scots! I love the sound of bagpipes mixed with artillery!

Britain and Commonwealth first with 88%, Italy and Finland second, Germany last.

I've always liked Italian food.
