Favorite Fictional Characters
John Hawkins' latest survey asked bloggers to select their favourite fictional characters. I am delighted to see Doctor Who made the list, sorry to say my own list left out Mike the computer and notice the Dark Knight once again cleans the floor with the Man of Steel.

I must admit that I'd probably enjoy meeting the Dark Knight more than meeting Superman. The conversation would be much better, considering that Superman is a boy scout and wouldn't have much in the way of secret stories to tell.
But Superman would still kick his ass.

It was you! You voted for Dr. Who!

Flea speaks for many of us, Bill.
I always thought Dr. Who was the best of 'em all, for any number of reasons. The limited budget that led to delightfully cheap monsters, the Nazi-robot Daleks ("Extermi-nate!!!"), as well as the mind-bending left-field concept of the "TARDIS" (a huge timeship on the inside, and a tiny call booth outside), the fact that the Doctor isn't "official" in any way (No "starfleets" or any of that jazz, just a bizarre anarchist Chaotic wandering round space-time, turning things upside-down...always for the best).
Finally, that witty repartee, and that gobsmacking scarf! (I'm thinking of the Fourth Doctor here)
How can I not love that show?
