ZegnArt - Chiara Camoni, Senza Titolo, Stabkarte 2014
"Born in Piacenza in 1974, Chiara Camoni lives and works in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany. Her work explores how shapes and perceptions are transformed over time, bringing out the poetry in this constant flux of apparition and disappearance. For the ZegnArt commission in Osaka, she has created a wall sculpture comprising many small shapes made from different colors of clay, strung on wires and attached to hooks, like skeins of yarn hung to dry. Each part of the work can be seen as a sculpture unto itself, but it also exists as a whole: conveying a minimalist feeling when seen from afar, it instead reveals a wealth of shapes and details when examined up close."
