The letter reaches its destination
The remains of a heroic World War II carrier pigeon, have been discovered in a chimney in Surrey. Work has begun at Bletchley Park and GCHQ to decode its message; hopefully, not time critical.

For gallantry: Thirty two pigeons were decorated during the War with the Dickin Medal, the animal equivalent of the Victoria Cross.
