Type 26 Frigate Global Combat Ship
The latest design of the Royal Navy’s next generation of warships has been unveiled today by the Ministry of Defence.
The Type 26 Global Combat Ship measures 148m end-to-end - equivalent to 15 double-decker buses stacked in a row - and contains vertical missile silos and a hangar to hold a helicopter and smaller boats.
