Why does Greenpeace think "other people" should continue to live their "traditional way of life" instead of the life he lives, which I presume involved driving a car to TV studio full of bright lights and cameras?

Ezra gets to Atwood toward the end of the interview. Sadly, no award winning novelists were literally slapped in the process.
