Muammar Gaddafi orders Libyans to offer a prayer for Gordon Brown and Kenny MacAskill who, in a more civilized age, would have been hanged, drawn and quartered.

Libya will mark the first anniversary of the release of the Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Al Megrahi by thanking God for Gordon Brown and Kenny MacAskill, the two men who let him go.

Colonel Gaddafi, the country’s dictator, has ordered prayers to mark Friday’s anniversary of the decision to free Al Megrahi from a Scottish prison on compassionate grounds.

According to the medical opinion upon which his release was based, Al Megrahi died nine months ago. Yet his zombie staggers on as a symbol of hope to British petro-chemical interests. It's a miracle!
