This birth certificate is a fake

The argument is at the link (hat tip to the Father of the Flea).

The problem with that argument is that it assumes a hospital some other objective third party fills out the form using uniform categories and decides what is written. And that's not true.
The forms are filled out by the parents, so they can put whatever they want in those little boxes, and the registrar is going to accept it.
For example, this 1973 reprint of a 1907 certificate of live birth, where the parents races are listed as "American" and "Hawaiian".
Those wouldn't be considered races by the pseudo-science of the day, but there they are, nonetheless. On self-reported forms you can get all kinds of weirdness.
