Loyalties lie

Khudayr Taher claims most Muslims in America (one hesitates to describe them as Muslim-Americans for fear of attracting a fatwa) are not loyal to the United States.

Ready for tenure, in other words.

"America is home to about seven million Muslims. Most of them, even if they are not terrorists, do harbor hostility towards the U.S. and feel no loyalty to it. As an Arab and Muslim, [I tell you] that it is difficult to find a Muslim who loves America; those [who do] constitute a tiny minority among all those millions.

By contrast: Barack Obama has lost half his support among Jewish-Americans.

A poll by McLaughlin and Associates found that, while 78 percent of Jewish voters cast their ballots for Obama, only 42 percent of Jewish voters would vote to re-elect him. A plurality — 46 percent — would consider voting for anyone else. That compares with 21 percent who voted for John McCain.
