An open letter to the Hon. Jason Kenney
Two caveats: First, I have attempted to reproduce the letter as I received it, some of my html work may be sketchy.
Second, this is the JDL doing the googling our security services are not prepared to do. As the letter points out, different individuals can share the same name. If any of Canada's spooks should happen to read this note, you might use the fancy bilingual search engine on your desktop to good effect; you owe it to us to be certain the individuals you are about to allow into our country are not the men listed below.
On Sunday, December 27 a large pro-Hamas march will take place outside the Israel Consulate in Toronto. There will also be a large Muslim Convention that weekend at the Toronto Convention Centre.
The convention is sponsored by the International Relief Fund for the Afflicted and Needy. This organization was spoken about in the House of Commons by the Hon. Stockwell Day.
The Jewish Defence League of Canada has looked into the background of all of the listed speakers. We believe that many of these speakers should not be allowed entry into Canada to preach hatred and to solicit material support for Terror Groups. Please review the following information of the listed speakers.
National Director Jewish Defence League of Canada
In the House of Commons October 1, 2003
ORAL QUESTION PERIOD
Mr. Stockwell Day (Okanagan-Coquihalla, Canadian Alliance): Mr. Speaker, yesterday we reminded the Prime Minister of a Canadian Hamas fundraising group that his security officials warned him about almost three years ago.
As he will recall, the warning said, "...fundraising in support of violent foreign struggles takes place in Canada...Front groups operating in Canada include the Jerusalem Fund for Human Services (Hamas Front)".
Thirty-six months later, the Prime Minister has done nothing to seize this group's assets. Now that he has had another 24 hours to reflect, could he tell us what actions he has taken to seize this group's assets and to shut them down?
Hon. Wayne Easter (Solicitor General of Canada, Lib.): Mr. Speaker, the hon. member knows that the Government of Canada is taking very decisive steps to address the global threat posed by terrorism, by terrorists around the world. We take every piece of information seriously.
The fact of the matter is that the listing process is a very thorough and strenuous process. In the listing process we take into consideration criminal and security intelligence information. I believe that on that basis we are certainly doing our job to protect the security of Canadians.
Mr. Stockwell Day (Okanagan-Coquihalla, Canadian Alliance): Mr. Speaker, this has nothing to do with the Solicitor General. This item landed securely and firmly on the desk of the Prime Minister. It is bad enough that he will not crack down on the terrorists' fundraisers; it appears that the government even allows them some fundraising assistance.
According to the association of Palestinian Canadians, the Hamas group's parent organization is the International Relief Fund for the Afflicted and Needy, which, we have just learned, is a Canadian organization that has tax deductible status. In other words, the Hamas front group can use its parent body to raise these funds and get a tax receipt.
Participants - Reviving the Islamic Spirit Convention
Qualifying Statement: Names of Participants were searched on the Internet. Since there may be more than one person with the same name, the following list may not be the individual who is participating in the Conference.
"Abu Ratib is an Islamist radical from Luton, who's come into conflict with senior members of the mainstream central mosque for distributing leaflets about Jihad. He's been linked to Omar Bakri Mohammed's group, Al Muhajiroun, though he denies having been a member. But judging by one of his speeches on the internet, he believes Al Qaeda is Islamically justified."
Dr. Abdal Hakim Jackson (USA) http://www.investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/91.pdf
"If one were to list all of Guirard's contributors who are associated with, for example, the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID), one might be able to glean a web of Muslim Brotherhood associations. From the TrueSpeak list, it turns out that the following CSID members are also members of identified Muslim Brotherhood entities:
Dr. Aboul-Hakin (Sherman Jackson). Trustee of NAIT and the MSA (Muslim Student Association), Board Member of the Fiqh Council of North America (ISNA affiliate)"
Dr. Abdal Hakim Murad (UK)
"The jury that found him guilty yesterday in Federal District Court in Manhattan also convicted his two co-defendants, Abdul Hakim Murad and Wali Khan Amin Shah, on charges that they conspired to blow up American commercial jetliners and tried to kill Americans traveling outside the United States"
Dr. Jamal Badawi (Canada)
"Islamist bigots as Jamal Badawi, author of a famously-retrograde volume, The Status of Woman in Islam, which recommends that females be excluded from political leadership. Badawi, who taught religious studies and is professor emeritus at St, Mary's University in Nova Scotia, Canada, has also endorsed wife-beating and polygamy.
Dr. Tareq Suwaidan (Kuwait)
"Tareq Suwaidan, as a speaker at the 2003 RIS conference, where he told the crowd: "It [the West] will continue to grow until an outside force hits it and you will be surprised at how quickly it falls. . . . It is the duty of local Muslims to help cure America's inner decay."
Dr. Yusuf Islam (UK)
FRONTPAGE MAGAZINE 'Is Cat Stevens a Terrorist' Sept 2004
"Tuesday, U.S. authorities diverted a United Airlines London-Washington flight to Bangor, Maine, where the ex-pop singer formerly known as Cat Stevens, now as Yusuf Islam, was questioned by federal security agents, and then ordered deported back to Britain. Yusuf Islam, it turns out, is on the official "no-fly list."
Dr. Zainab Alwani
"...several important ISNA leaders as members of the Executive Council in addition to Badawi. 243 Zainab Alwani, likely the daughter of FCNA founder and IIT leader Taha al-Alwani, and U.S. MB leader Hanooti are FCNA council members."

Imam Zaid Shakir ( http://www.pbs.org/now/transcript/transcript101_full.html
MOYERS: You say in that same essay, that Islam presents an absolutist political agenda, one which doesn't lend itself to compromise nor to coalition building.
ZAID SHAKIR: right.
MOYERS: Are you saying that Islam cannot be a part of democracy...
ZAID SHAKIR: No.
MOYERS: ...but not stand apart...
ZAID SHAKIR: I said... I said...
MOYERS: ...from democracy?
ZAID SHAKIR: I said that ten years ago. That essay was written over... over ten years ago.
MOYERS: Would you say it now?
ZAID SHAKIR: I would not say it now.
MOYERS: You would say that Islam is compatible with coalition building, with compromise, with democracy?
ZAID SHAKIR: No, but I would say Islam is compatible with working together with decent people at various social, political, and cultural levels to make the world a better place.
MOYERS: All right, let me just do one more that I found in one of your essays. Let me put this on the screen so our viewers can see it and read this...
ZAID SHAKIR: I'd like to see it also.
MOYERS: Well, I'll read it to you directly. "The orientation of the Koran pushes us in the exact opposite direction."
MOYERS: I'd like to know a serious question: what is it that Allah might find illegitimate about America?
ZAID SHAKIR: I think that as a Muslim, I would say the - and it might not be to a negative consequence - but the ability ultimately to enact strictures and legislation that might be inconsistent with what we have generally...
MOYERS: With Islamic law?
ZAID SHAKIR: As general religious law, would be objectionable.
"A copy of the pamphlet [written by Shakir] was found in the apartment of a suspect in the first World Trade Center bombing, in 1993. Mr. Shakir says he was questioned by the F.B.I., but had no link to the man, and that was the end of it."
Imam Johari Abdul Malik (USA)
"a Virginia imam, Johari Abdul Malik, who declared in November 2004 that "you will see Islam move from being the second largest religion in America -- to being the first religion in America," and who told Muslims in 2001 that they could "blow up bridges."
Imam Yasir Fazaga (USA)
[Fazaga] strongly disputes that 'Wahhabism' in itself promotes violence.
The following is an Internet Translation: German to English
"According to Danish media fellow Isam Bachiri one detained in Denmark 19 years old terrorist is said to have sent to prison...The brother of Isam Bachiri to be married to the sister of terror suspects."
Music Video > Palestine will be Free
Tariq Ramadan (Switzerland) - by Stephen Schwartz - August 28, 2009
Born in Switzerland, Ramadan is the grandson of Hassan al-Banna, founder of the radical Muslim Brotherhood....Ramadan has been barred from entry into the U.S. since 2004.......Early in July of this year , however, given the new atmosphere of outreach to Muslim radicals under President Barack Obama, the Second Circuit U.S. Appeals Court reversed the lower-court ruling, effectively nullifying the prohibition on an American visa for RamadanQari Amar Bellaha
Shaykh Hamza Yusuf (USA)
Shaykh Hamza" was long known as one of the most outspoken Muslim radicals in America. Two days before the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Hanson, speaking in Southern California, declared that America stood "condemned" and "unfortunately has a great, great tribulation coming to it."
Shaykh Abdalla Idris Ali (Canada)
Abdullah Idris Ali served as president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) from 1992-1997. ISNA enforces Wahhabi theological writ in some 1,200 American mosques, determining who will speak at every Friday prayer, and which literature will be distributed there. Ali is a member of the board of trustees for the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), a Saudi Wahhabi financial institution that, according to a CAIR report, owns about 27 percent of the estimated 1,200 mosques in the United States. Wahhabism is the most extreme, intolerant, violent form of Islam. Ali is also on the board of advisors for the American Muslim Council (AMC), whose founder and leader, Abdul Rahman Alamoudi, has publicly proclaimed his support for the terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah. Moreover, Alamoudi was arrested in September 2003 for illegally failing to notify the U.S. State Department of his numerous trips to Libya; illegally accepting $10,700 from the Libyan mission to the United Nations; and using two American and one Yemeni passport for at least ten of those trips.
Shaykh Abdallah Bin Bayyah (Muritania)
Bin Bayyah was a major force behind the move for an international law criminalizing criticism of Muhammad or Islam. This is clear in his endorsement of the fatwa in the website
Bin Bayyah recommends that Muslims living in Non-Muslim lands engage in Meccan Islam, with the clear implication that they are preparing for a time when they will implement Medina Islam (i.e., Islamic law and government).
Bin Bayyah still refers to non-Muslim minorities living in Muslim lands as dhimmis.
Shaykh Sulaiman Mulla (South Africa)
Sr. Aisha Al Adawiyyah (USA)
U.S. Justice Department co-sponsors convention held by unindicted co-conspirator in terror funding case
Sr. Tayyiba Taylor (USA)
Ustad Amr Khaled (Video Conferencing)
He talks about the glory of God and hands the microphone to a young woman in the audience, asking her to talk about her feelings. His shows are broadcast around the world on satellite channels. He's preaching Allah and he's the hottest Muslim televangelist in the Arab world. Islam a la Amr Khaled is spreading a different message: You can be hip, modern, and Muslim. Instead of preaching politics, he "focuses on personal piety." Instead of dictating the dos and don'ts of Islam, Khaled gives advice and talks about real-life situations. Among upper-class Muslim families in Cairo, his is a household name. (Jerusalem Post)
Ustadh Amr Khaled (Egypt)

FRONTPAGE MAGAZINE 'ISNA: Conspiring since 1963', May 2009
2. Shaykh Salman Al Audah (Saudi Arabia)
FRONTPAGE MAGAZINE 'The Michigan Jihad', Oct 2003
As the result of his Saudi indoctrination, Ahmad Jibril became a disciple and strong supporter of militant Islamic clerics from the Arabian Gulf, including Shaykh Salman Al-Awdah, who Jibril has referred to as a "Great Imam & Scholar... [who] boldly confronted the American presence in [Saudi Arabia]... may Allah reward him the peak of heaven!" In an interview with journalist Peter Arnett, Osama Bin Laden lauded Al-Awdah as a personal hero and cited him as a direct inspiration for taking up "my duty of enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong."/div>
