I was fascinated at the fly-bys of work spaces in low gravity; the orientation of monitors and such.

That was an issue on Skylab. They deliberately planned some workstations with obvious up-down like on Earth and other that were more ambiguous. Pilot-astronauts vastly preferred the up-down workstations, while scientist-astronauts were more tolerant of the more ambiguous ones.
