If you read the Harris' books, rather than having a reliance upon the movies, the role of Blake in the "Dr. Lecter" series is greatly enhanced.
I remember reading Red Dragon in the early '80's. My uncle gave it me. What a book.
It's sad that many have no clue that there are actual books out there to read.
