India's turn to be thrown under the bus

Having already spurned the Dalai Lama, the Obama administration - the most "progressive" in American history - now warns him off saying anything controversial in his upcoming visit to Arunachal Pradesh.

I expect they have decided Pope Benedict can be relied upon not to ruffle any feathers when visits the disputed region, for all it might step on Obama's media footprint as he is scheduled to visit his friends in Beijing at the same time.

While President Obama has bestowed on India the honor of his administration's first state dinner at the White House, he is edging more toward China in its battle of words with India over a key border area and inching away from prior Bush administration commitments to New Delhi

And Poland. And the Czech Republic. And Honduras. And Israel...

Exit question: Is there an over/under on how long before Obama throws the Nobel Committee under the bus?
