? Enumerated Powers Act | Main | In physics, you don't have to go around making trouble for yourself - nature does it for you ?

It is my strong belief that the government has to treat all citizens equally

So said Barack Obama. The President could revoke Don't Ask, Don't Tell with the sweep of a pen. He chooses not to.

So the gay community, and its concerns about President Obama's inaction, and backtracking, on DADT and DOMA, are now, according to President Obama's White House, part of a larger "fringe" that acts like small children who play in their pajamas and need to grow up. (And a note to our readers: The White House just included all of you in that loony "left fringe.")

I wonder how the Human Rights Campaign is going to explain how the White House just knifed our community less than 24 hours after he went to their dinner and claimed he was our friend.

Call me cynical as you wish, I believe Obama has one (conscious) priority: To be a two-term President.

At least a two-term President.

Democrats face defeat in Virginia as Barack Obama becomes liability

President Barack Obama is facing defeat in his first electoral test since he won the White House, with the Republicans leading the polls for the governor's race in the swing state of Virginia.

Update: Quisling is still Norway's chief loan word to the English Language.

Anyone who has taught in the university over the last thirty years has witnessed dozens of mini-sorts of Nobel Prizes each year handed out to faculty on the basis of what they represent or said rather than accomplishment; but it is still remarkable to see such postmodernism hit the world stage, where reality is virtual and constructed on language and expressed intent.
