Clearly talented girls, even though J-pop isn't my thing.

Enka on the other hand is the old school real deal (this is a prime example). And when they add synths and wailing guitars it just gets better. Jero, a black Japanese-American, has become something of a hit for the enka crowd by marrying the enka sound with modern/hip-hop dance routines.

I used to hate listening to this stuff as a kid, but it's really growing on me now. No idea why.
