In this case, I was looking for that All Blacks vs Tonga haka stand off and came across the gingerbread haka en route.

Is this not exactly the reason the Maori have been seeking legal protection for their traditional haka . . . trying to avoid it being taken out of its cultural context?

Just so long as they seek redress using a language other than English and a legal system other than the Common Law. I want to avoid the traditions of my people being taken out of their context too.
