Fighting for her rights
It took me a while to get round to watching the Wonder Woman dvd release; several people have told me the show is nowhere near as good as we remember from our childhoods.
Those people are wrong.
Pic related. Is evidence.
Exit observation: A Wonder Woman reboot seems to be in order. Upon reflection, casting the next Amazon is easy.

I watched them about 6 months ago. (yay netflix!)
The first season of the 1970's Wonder Woman was as good as I remembered from my childhood. It was set in the "golden age" of Wonder Woman in the 1940's.
The second and third seasons kind of sucked in a disco-ey sort of way. Plus they turned Lyle Waggoner into essentially set-dressing with a pulse. Still, Linda Carter managed to even make Diana Prince sexy in a 1970's tweedy librarian sort of way.
Lena Headey is an attractive woman, but she strikes me as too waifish to play an amazon, much less step into Linda Carter's red, white and blue bustier.
I dunno. The faux-funk piano and "ooo ooo ooo oooooooooo" background singers kinda ruin it for me.
But yeah dpatten is right, the first season is all 1940s cool, the others are full of disco suck.
