An unpardonable, ghastly crime

Yet another charming folk custom protected from criticism by Canada's thought-crime legislation. Flea-readers are advised not to follow the link lest bad-thought land them in front of "human rights" commission.

The story of the 14-year old girl from Rupganj is appalling. The girl is struggling to recover from the burn wounds inflicted on her by a neighbour. One more budding life has been shattered by the acid throwers, whose inability to place human life above satisfying their beastly instincts has for a pretty long time been an area of major concern.

Remember: All cultures are equally valid except ours. Canadian women who enjoy the franchise, a driver's license or not having acid thrown in their faces - and who have ever, even once, voted Liberal or NDP - might take this as a moment to concentrate the mind.
