Can you dig it
Daniel Finkelstein and his Times of London editors imagine they are begging the question when they ask, "Who started the 'Obama is a Muslim' smear?". To my mind, having a Muslim father, being registered at school as a Muslim, and getting ready to be the first President Hussein are what really beg the question. Some might think the allegation constitutes a "smear", Obama's friends in the press certainly appear to.
