License to Thrill

Vanity Fair says there should be "a war memorial to fallen Bond Girls". There case is bolstered by an Olga Kurylenko photo shoot which I suspect Flea-readers will find convincing. Featured: Riding boots. Related: Daniel Craig turns 40.

Not related by awesome: Stills from Zack Snyder's Watchmen film adaptation.

I must alert you to a larger, higher resolution version. Oh, and it includes another character.

Oh. Yes.

Though I am terrified of this film. What are the odds they have not completely raped the graphic novel comics? Peter Jackson surprised with his Lord of the Rings so I know it is possible to do this sort of thing properly but what are the odds.

I think the odds are good they have not raped the comics. I don't know how Snyder's 300 compared to Frank Miller's original, but I think he did an excellent job. Granted, the visual style might not match Watchmen fans' dreams, but I don't think he'll screw it up too badly.

This is enormously reassuring. 300 was fantastically visually faithful to Frank Miller's book and got the spirit of the thing right too.
