Now is the time at the Flea when we dance.

Flea, you have been on fire with the musical selections lately -- Martin Denny, Poledouris, and now this. Have you been rummaging through my CDs? (This one I don't have).

Unlike BBC in the UK, BBC World has commercials. For a couple of days after 9/11, they were wall-to-wall news and did not run ads. When they resumed, they just had a couple ads on heavy rotation. This song appeared in a Nokia ad. It was about how, with a Nokia phone, you didn't actually have to be at your desk; how this song fit in I have no idea.

Anyhow, they just played the first verse -- "Please hide me I run to the rock/I can't hide you the rock cried out." I thought of it as Osama bin Laden's song.

Thanks! I have been working piano into some of the music I make and have been listening to a lot of '60s airport jazz... Partially for composition and partially for production; there is an amazing tape feel to so much of it that sometimes comes through even in compressed YouTube files.
