Many people do not enjoy the Spice Girls' music

PoshChair.jpg

These people are completely missing the point. The point is about girl power and how you should be proud of yourself no matter what you look like. Take Victoria Beckham, for example. You can assume a positive attitude about your appearance despite having had a somewhat pneumatic breast enhancement. Not everyone's cup of tea, admittedly, nor indeed everyone's champagne glass or - as circumstances have it - whisky quaich. But each to his own. Each to his own. For does not the Good Book counsel us that what is one man's bread is another man's poison? Exactly.

Posh was a perfectly acceptable cup of tea before she became rail-thin and over-tanned. Kind of agnostic on the Girls' musical talent but I did find Spice World downright hilarious.

I confess I have not seen Spice World. Perhaps I * do * have limits after all...

Um, even the Spice Girls have recently admitted that the girl power thing was an overstatement on their part.

The point is not girl power . . . it's all about money.

Heresy! Just look at Posh now. All empowered and so forth.

What if the implants were literally pneumatic? Would they then be adjustable? Would that feature be described as steampunk, cyberpunk, or just the one feature Seven of Nine didn't have, but should have had?

From the quaich link:

"Originally of wood staved construction, by the 17th century they were wrought principally of pewter."

Which pretty much confirms my suspicions about Posh's implants.

Then, of course, there's the symmetry issue.

I was never a fan of hers.. stil not really. When I met my wife she looked like Sporty Spice and so said all my geeky gaming buddies at the comic shop (I was their king) and of course to prove the point we all went ans saw Spice World.. ugh.. Roger Moore what were you thinking..

I need a wooden Tankard for my weekend ale. Greg, what do you charge?

Forget about Roger Moore . . . what was Alan Cumming doing in that film?
