Now is the time at the Flea when we dance.
Updated: I meant to mention this morning how the opening of this tune reminds of "King Volcano" by Bauhaus. I am now wondering whether this is a coincidence, a source of inspiration or whether both songs share a common antecedent in some medieval ditty of which I am unaware.

Assuming it's not a drum and her drumming motion doesn't just look remarkably like she is turning a crankk, that is.

An excellent question. Though I confess I only ever wondered in an abstract sort of way. Generally a bit distracted as she glides about the place.
