As, I suspect, one of the few readers here who not only owns Steely Dan albums, but has paid to see them play live, let me congratulate you on your choice of musical interlude today, Flea.
Although I must say, all this time, I never suspected your musical eccentricity extended all the way to Steely Dan. Niiice.

I think Kid Charlemagne is one of the great pop singles of all time. Though I should admit one of my primary associations with Steely Dan is drinking very good bourbon at 3 in the a.m. ...

Here's another set of most excellent associations for you, Master Flea: Halle Berry and "Do It Again." Yum.
"Peg" is my pinnacle single from the band - just listen to the unmistakably unique Michael McDonald background vocals. And I could listen to the entire Aja album all night.
Heh. For once, I can weigh in on a musical discussion around here!
