Now we can look the Australians in the eye

Stephen Harper is the first sitting Canadian Prime Minister to visit the front lines of a war zone.
Right. On.
Canada's socialist party wants the troops withdrawn immediately and the peoples of Afghanistan left to their fate. It is important to repeat: They are not anti-war; they are on the other side.
The severed heads of those who cross the fanatical jihadis are held aloft in cheering, jeering crowds. And in the bazaar, just a few rupees buys one of the hottest selling new DVDs - that's the one in which a 12-year-old boy wields the decapitation knife.

That's quite the juxtaposition between modern technology and antiquated savagery. :shudder:

And if we do not have the spleen to make use of our technology the savages will win.

Oh and not to pick nits but wouldn't the first Canadian PM to visit the front lines of a war zone be Mackenzie King?
Considering he had to cross the Atlantic a few times via convoy whilst the Kriegsmarine wolfpacks were still at work.

... and Borden also ventured forth during the First Great Kerfuffle.
Cheers
