Now is the time at the Flea when we dance (nsfw due to F-bomb).

Such a gorgeous song, and it's been so long since I've heard it...

I was walking up toward Parliament Hill in Ottawa when this cab pulls up jammed full of hot women. My ex leans out the window, "We are going drinking! Wanna come?" Hells, ya; I hop in the cab. Where are we headed? "We are going to hear a bisexual feminist folk singer!" Christ, what sort of injuries will I sustain if I jump for it now... a reaction I admit reflects most relationships I have had with women, an alarming number of whom have been bisexual feminist folk singers.

Needless to say, I changed my mind once I heard Ani start to sing. Cut to scene: Years later in Manchester convincing my two land-ladies to come with me to a concert. They had never heard of let alone heard Ani DiFranco: "And you call yourselves lesbians!"

I am still waiting for a proper video to pop up on YouTube for "Both Hands", my favourite Ani song.
