Miami Vice

Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell star in Miami Vice. I am willing to give the remake a chance but Michael Mann is going to have to seriously juice up the trailer. It is missing jai alai and flamingos, for example. Small sidebar: I think Heat is one of the most over-rated films of all time.

Heat has its moments -- mainly when Robert De Niro's character (and occasionally his cohorts) are the focus of the story. I can't stand the bits with Pacino, though. Without firm direction, Al has a tendency to really ham things up a la Scent of a Woman.

Well at least Michael Mann is doing it instead of someone else. It could be good...And I agree Heat is over-rated as hell.
