The V for Vendetta website now features two trailers. Saying "governments should be afraid of their people" is cute. Too bad the producers have not read their own Guy Fawkes primer terribly carefully: homicidal religious zealots hardly speak for "the people". Though I suppose any maniac who straps a bomb to himself and heads for the London Underground is meant to be idolized by these fools.

Not only that: The Plot merely made the oppression of Catholics in the UK far worse and last far longer than otherwise would have been the case.
As for the trailers, they are simply trying to capitalize on knee-jerk adolescent anti-authoritarianism. Target audiences and the like, y'know.
