He may be a wanker, but he certainly improved in attitude and performance in the last four weeks. MiG? Doesn't he perform in some sort of Queen stage show? Put up against 'Sweet Suzie MacNeil', he plain out sucked on Bohemian Rhapsody, and he's been sucking for about the same lenght of time that J.D. has been peaking...
As for Marty, I knew he didn't get it as soon as he was done his song with INXS - there was absolutely no interaction with the band: it was just all about Marty, front and centre. After his performance, I turned to my better half and said that J.D. will smoke Marty because he will get work in with the band... and wouldn't ya know it, he did...
