Constructing the future
Some seasons Donna Karan gets it exactly right. Wow.
The palette - metal, air and water, contrasts the fire within. Each piece has intention with craftmanship and luxurious detail, articulating the body with modernity and movement.
So. I am looking for an excellent tailor in downtown Toronto. I am usually a DKNY guy due to the Flea not having made me independently wealthy but... found a silk, "black label" Donna Karan jacket at a thrift shop. It is in excellent shape but is in need of some careful surgery on the inside breast pocket.

I can give you the name of my tailor and shirtmaker if you want, Nicholas. My tailor did a lovely job on duplicating some '50s suits, and the shirtmaker copied a shirt I saw in a picture of Lester Young. Just send me an e-mail.

Andrea: I am a master of second-hand and discount shopping. Sometimes the hunt can be frustrating but then there a days when you score a silk Donna Karan black label jacket for twenty dollars. And not just any dollars... twenty Canadian dollars. Oh yes.
Rick: Thanks!
