Hi folks. I am hoping that amongst the sixty-five thousand or so people rolling through here in a month there are some of you who have thoughts on getting work in Paris, Barcelona or pretty much anywhere in Italy as an English speaking fellow. My French is rusty and my Spanish and Italian limited to what I can infer to be derivatives from the Latin. I would love to learn either Spanish or Italian - or to improve my French - but would need to make a living in the meantime. I have an EU passport so that at least would present few difficulties.
Not that I am picking up sticks just yet. I have job applications out there in the English-speaking world and some offer may set me in a different direction. It is just that this week I have had an opportunity to reconsider what it is I am doing and quite where I would like to be.
And then... I realize the comments function presents an obstacle... Please do email me if you have some thoughts on my new life in, for example, Montparnasse.
