I am no fan of the aristocracy but Winston Churchill comes to mind.

Had thought of him as soon as I pressed "submit", actually.
Haven't really got anything against the aristocracy -- lots of traditions amuse me, when it comes down to it -- but any time that people start putting others down over such things, it raises my hackles.
