People are people so why should it be you and I get along so awfully? Solomonia details a PLA children's programme where Tarabisho (the Talking Chick) suggests an appropriate course of action should someone (rhymes with "you know who"!) should come and cut down the trees in front of your house.
I'll fight him and make a big riot,
I'll call the whole world and make a riot.
I'll bring AK-47s [assault rifles] and the whole world,
I'll commit a massacre in front of the house".

People in most of the rest of the world don't think as Canadians (or most Americans) do. Peace has been good to us...thus, we have lots to lose. For others, that status quo hasn't been as beneficial. These are the people who can be exploited by bandits like the PA, for they believe that their condition can only be improved through war. Peace just means continued humiliation.
