Except for the whole shooting of innocent passersby thing, it was rather pleasant taking a walk down the streets of my favorite European city. I know that area - the Placa del Pi, near the hotel my wife and I stayed in the first time we went there. If the shooter had turned in another direction, he'd have ended up in my favorite Basque tapas bar, the Taverna Irati.
