Tinfoil hat

Now putting on my tinfoil hat. Ahem.

I think it is pretty obvious that Senator Clinton wants to be at the top of a Democrat presidential ticket. I think it is also widely accepted that the Clinton candidate for 2004 was General Wesley Clark. Now they are stuck supporting Senator Kerry who, should he win, would not only be a roadblock to rival contenders in 2008 but would place Senator Edwards in a strong position for 2012.

So here we go... I question the timing of former President Clinton's bypass surgery. It effectively removes Billary from the campaign not only taking away much needed star power for the Kerry/Edwards run but distancing the Clintons from the forthcoming derisery results for Democrats in the Senate, House and, yes, the Presidency.

Conspiracy theories often mask genuine anxiety at a world where bad things happen by appearing to provide an explanation that makes sense of otherwise senseless suffering or calamity. Now that I have got that psychic hiccup out of the way I want to say that I hope President Clinton is as well as can be expected and wish him a speedy recovery.
