There's a Nepalis expat organization here in North America that is collecting funds that will be sent over to the families of the murdered workers.

It's a group my dad's been involved with for the last twenty years (he's a past president), & so I can tell you that they are legit. I know half the donors on the list personally.

Nick, I missed this post but you are spot on. My Dad has a number of stories about the lads from Nepal in WWII and their knife work. Apparently a few US soldiers were lost to them before someone explained they wore tall boots like the Germans. The Gurkhas figured out who was who in the night by running a finger up from the heel as the person stood unknowing. Short boot meant a friend. Tall boot meant Nazi and the knife.
