Batman Begins

New material has appeared at the Batman Begins website including new photos and... a trailer. So. Goth. It looks like the Batman has finally arrived. The real Batman. The Dark Knight. Now going to watch trailer compulsively and consider the darkness.

They told me there was nothing out there. Nothing to fear. But the night my parents were murdered I caught a glimpse of something. I've looked for it ever since. I went around the world, searched in all the shadows and there was something out there in the darkness. Something terrifying. Something that will not stop until it gets revenge... me.

Is this based on Miller's "Batman: Year One" ???

Rumour has it there was a plan to film Batman: Year One with Frank Miller and Darren Aronofsky writing the script. It is my impression that project was finally abandoned and that Batman: Begins is an attempt to interpret the same material.

Am I the only one who wants to see Henry Rollins don the cowel? So far, I think Toby's the only actor to have played a superhero.

Dave sounds good to me. I still think the first couple Batman films were rather good. Tim Burton got the whole ambiance of Batman rather well. It good news that they are not going for the campness for last 2 movies.
