The Memory of Shadows
Straczynski Project Watch has most excellent news: Babylon 5: The Memory of Shadows. This puts an end to speculation at 2.35:1 aspect ratios. Let speculation about the plot begin!
A new Babylon 5 filmed project, probably a feature film, is on the way. The title is Babylon 5: The Memory of Shadows. According to Straczynski, they are already past the "let's do this" phase and are well into the "let's make everybody's deal" phase.
But even better than this to me is the news JMS will be putting together a Dr. Strange limited series.
The funny thing about Strange is that if you look at the Matrix, there's nothing Neo does that Doc Strange doesn't do, minus the incantations and magical gestures. So why is Neo a pop culture icon and not Strange? As they say, presentation is everything. Strange was born at a time when magicians were very Las Vegas-y, with the costumes and the capes and the grand gestures. He, too, was frozen in that mode, and since the world has moved on from that image, Strange became kind of campy. Change that form of presentation, and you'll get something more modern and more cool.
Now curious to learn who the artist will be... ahh... Brandon Peterson.
