At some point in my schooling, I had a classmate whose relative was the inventor. It was explained to be a process of temperature shifting and candy inverstion so the top was actually the bottom, the cups were filled with warmer caramel and then the bottom rectangle sealed it all in. Miss the critical temperatures at each point in the process and all is goo. Remember, I said in grade one that grandpa was on the moon, he was just out of view of the camera.
