Buffy resurrected

Buffy returns in animated form.

Defunct TV show Biffy The Vampire Slayer is set to be resurrected as a cartoon. Although Sarah Michelle Gellar will not reprise her leading role in the new series, creator Joss Whedon has reportedly recruited Giselle Loren - the video-game voice of Buffy - to speak for her in the pilot. Cast members Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon and Anthony Stewart Head are returning to voice the animated versions of their characters.

Excellent. But what I want to know is what happened to the outstanding Spiderman cartoon that had been on MTV with the voices of Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser), Lisa Loeb and Ian Ziering. It was outstanding and suddenly it was gone. A lot of good cartoon series seem to be meeting this fate. Justice League? No new episodes in ages. X-Men Evolution (is that right?)? Gone. All with interesting storylines developing just before they died without warning. Yeah, my inner child is bitter.

I couldn't agree more! Very excited about the Buffy cartoon.... I am still in total denial about the show ended (yes, OVER A YEAR AGO! -- isn't that a true fan? to be fanatica?), and I also agree about the MTV Spiderman cartoon... what happened to it?

Hope Spidey comes back, and I seriously can't wait for BtVS!!!!
