Andorians

These are my new favourite aliens. Andorians kick ass. I am delighted the Trek people have revived these guys from the occasional cameo appearance over the years and stayed true to the back-story of Vulcan/Andorian border conficts at the beginnings of the Federation. One minor point: for the record, most humans are not "pink skins" and it seems a peculiar term of abuse to choose on that basis.

I wondered at the 'pink skin' reference myself, but overall loved the episode... Even got a *smile* from Archer at the end, which have been in too short supply this year... ;)

I think the "pink skin" reference dates back to ST: TOS, but my memory might be playing tricks.
I enjoyed the episode but kind of was hoping that the Andorian ship would be wacked enough by the explosion to force the crew over to the Enterprise to REALLY join the fight...Given the poor performance by Enterprise's security and "special forces" types, they really could use a kick-ass team like the Andorians around.

I HAVE A FEELING THAT THE TERM "PINKSKIN" WAS USED BY THE ANDORIANS AS A RACIAL TERM FOR HUMANS..PERHAPS THE FIRST HUMANS THEY HAD CONTACT WITH WERE LIGHT SKIN CAUCASIANS...THUS THE TERM..I THINK I'VE HEARD THEM REFERRED TO AS BLUESKINS BY OTHER ALIENS INCLUDING HUMANS.
