Yes. I do like it. I'm pretty good at it, too - though from practical experience I've never experienced a wind sufficient to bend the trajectory back under itself... flares and white- phosphorus-impregnated felt wedges excepted.

That element of the met calculation did require recalibration. Plus, I've never seen meteorological conditions where the correction factor for the component of 1 knot head/cross wind was constant across all lines of the met message.
