This baby was developed for the first Martian war in 1949. It should definitely be considered for a home in the blogosphere's arsenal.

I thought the images of "Martians" getting fried looked familiar, and I eventually realized where they are from: a deliciously bad '60s sci-fi movie called The Green Slime. See more here:
