NS-5
The NS-5 bills itself as a "3 laws safe" fully-automated assistant that is "more intellegent than most PhD graduates". The commercial is brilliant. What will you do with yours? I chose the Champagne skin option along with Chestnut musculature, Bronze cladding and Lilac eyes (and I can hardly wait for the movie).
2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

But...Will Smith? I have a sinking feeling it's going to be a shoot-em-up, instead of the intellectual series of puzzle stories that we started with...

I think this is a potential problem with a lot of Asimov... and I agree with your reservations about Will Smith. He has done some great serious work (Six Degrees) and some not so great work (MIB 2). At least it isn't Tom Cruise.
